OFF! @ Triple Rock 4/3/11

Went and saw OFF1 at the T-Rock on Sunday. One of the best I've seen in a while (coming from a guy who see's live bands all week!) It was pretty cool seeing Keith Morris (who is now 55 years old) jump around and tear a fucking stage up like he was 15...

He spouted off about a few current affairs, not so much in-depth, but rather just elaborated a bit on his contempt for our government (what used to be a staple of every punk show way back when...) with a relieving touch of humor (I got kinda scared when things were seemingly turning slightly "Propagandhi").

the best part came at the end of their admitedly short set of 16 songs when he mentioned that he'd been in this situation before in Black flag; "when I left Black Flag we only had 16 songs, so to satisfy audience members who wanted more we would just play our set again. so we're gonna play our set again!"

I wished it were true, they only made it through the first two songs of it. I would have stayed for the rest...
